Chob Singh Varma (Gawar) is Retd IAS from village Javara in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. He is author of many books on Jat History.

चोब सिंह वर्मा - रिटायर्ड आई.ए.एस. चोब सिंह वर्मा मथुरा जिले के गांव जावरा के मूल निवासी हैं। इनका गोत्र गावर है। इन्होंने इतिहास पर कई पुस्तकें लिखी हैं। जाट महाराजा सूरजमल से संबंधित पुस्तक भी लिखी है (Bharatpur: a Saga of Invincible Courage)।
