Sardar Thakur Singh Sandhawalia of Raja Sansi, cousin of Maharaja Duleep Singh and founder of the Amritsar Singh Sabha (seated in the centre) with sons Narinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh and Kunwar Gurdit Singh (Later Kunwar Gurdit Singh Adopted by Maharaja Duleep Singh Sandhawalia), prior to departing for England in 1884 to ferment rebellion against the British Empire.
Sardar Thakur Singh's wife was daughter of Martyr Raja Nahar Singh of Ballabgarh (Tewatia Jats). Thakur Singh's son S. Narinder Singh and Gurbachan Singh were adopted by different Jat Jagirdars.
