Pankaj Lamba completed his primary education from Kendriya Vidyalaya Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Subsequently, middle education (6th to 8th) was done from Kendriya Vidyalaya [[Amritsar]] and Baddowal Cantt, [[Ludhiana]].

Pankaj Lamba holds a dual degree in Civil Engineering (BE (Hons) and Economics (M.Sc. Pankaj Lamba hails from village [[Dalanwas]], district [[Mahendergarh]], [[Haryana]]. His father has rendered services in the Indian Navy and Railway protection force.

His grandfather, Sh Mamchand Lamba, was a humble, hardworking farmer.
