Balbir Singh Rawat (born 01/08/1942) is a Retd. District and Sessions Judge from Durgapur village in District Palwal, Haryana.

Personal Life

He was born in village Durgapur of Palwal District on 1st August, 1942. His family includes of his wive and six children. He has two sons and both of them are Lawyer. Elder one is Mr. Adv Jitender Rawat and is currently the President of DBA (District Bar Association), Palwal.

उनका जन्म 1 अगस्त, 1942 को पलवल जिले के दुर्गापुर गाँव में हुआ था। उनके परिवार में उनकी पत्नी और छह बच्चे शामिल हैं। उनके दो बेटे हैं और दोनों ही वकील हैं। उनके बड़े बेटे श्री जितेन्द्र रावत हैं और वर्तमान में DBA(जिला बार एसोसिएशन), पलवल के अध्यक्ष हैं।

Education

He completed his 10+2 education from High Secondary School, Palwal with Distinction. He completed his B.A from SD College, Palwal and became Teacher(1966) at High Secondary School, Palwal. He then pursued MA(Eng Hons.) from Kurukshetra University, 1965 and then did LLB from Punjab University with Distinction, 1968 and while studying he worked in a Bank and HAFED in chandigarh. Then he became Lecturer(English) in brijmandal College, Hodal(1971) and worked as an Advocate(Aug 1972-1978). He cleared his exam in First Attempt but gets very low marks in Interview and in 1977 he again appeared for the exam.

उन्होंने अपनी 10 + 2 की शिक्षा उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय, पलवल से डिस्टिंक्शन के साथ पूरी की। उन्होंने एसडी कॉलेज, पलवल से बी.ए. पूरा किया और उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय, पलवल में शिक्षक (1966) बने। इसके बाद उन्होंने 1965 में कुरुक्षेत्र विश्वविद्यालय से MA (Eng Hons) किया, और फिर पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय से एलएलबी डिस्टिंक्शन, 1968 के साथ किया और पढ़ाई के दौरान उन्होंने एक बैंक और हैफेड में चंडीगढ़ में काम किया। फिर वह बृजमंडल कॉलेज, होडल (1971) में लेक्चरर (अंग्रेजी) बन गए और एडवोकेट (1972-1978) के रूप में काम किया। उन्होंने फर्स्ट अटेम्प्ट में अपना एग्जाम क्लियर किया लेकिन इंटरव्यू में बहुत कम अंक मिले और 1977 में वह फिर से एग्जाम के लिए उपस्थित हुए।

Career

In Feb, 1978 he joined Judiciary Services and was posted as JMIC in Karnal district. He was the second judicial officer from Haryana who belongs to a Jat family after ADJ SS Dhaiya who joined before him in 1975. He was the first ADJ appointed in Fatehabad. Shri Laxman Sharma was the first District & Sessions Judge, Fatehabad whereas Sh. B.S. Rawat, was posted as Addl. District & Sessions Judge at Fatehabad at the first time on 14.3.2000. He worked in following Districts respectively: Panipat, Bhadurgarh, Fatehabad, Rewari, Bhiwani, Narnaul, Kaithal, Sonipat, Hissar, Fatehbaad, Jhajjar, Sonipat(Fast track) and retired from services on 1/8/2002 from Fast Track Court.

फरवरी, 1978 में वह न्यायपालिका सेवा में शामिल हुए और करनाल जिले में जेएमआईसी के रूप में तैनात थे। वह हरियाणा के दूसरे न्यायिक अधिकारी थे जो एडीजे एसएस धैया के बाद एक जाट परिवार से ताल्लुक रखते हैं जो 1975 में उनके साथ जुड़े थे। वह फतेहाबाद में नियुक्त पहले एडीजे थे। श्री लक्ष्मण शर्मा पहले जिला और सत्र न्यायाधीश, फतेहाबाद थे जबकि श्री। बी.एस. रावत, एडेल जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश के रूप में फतेहाबाद में 14.3.2000 को पहली बार तैनात थे। । उन्होंने क्रमशः जिलों में काम किया: पानीपत, बहादुरगढ़, फतेहाबाद, रेवाड़ी, भिवानी, नारनौल, कैथल, सोनीपत, हिसार, फतेहबाद, झज्जर, सोनीपत (फास्ट ट्रैक) और फास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट से 1/8/2002 को सेवाओं से सेवानिवृत्त हुए।

Social

He was the member of Jat Society, Palwal and was actively involved in betterment of the society. He made donation enormous times in the betterment of our people. He made donation and inaugrated Dada Kanha Park and Gaushala with Former CM Hooda.

सामाजिक

वह जाट समाज पलवल के सदस्य थे और समाज की भलाई में सक्रिय रूप से शामिल थे। उन्होंने हमारे लोगों की भलाई में बहुत बार दान किया। उन्होंने दादा कान्हा पार्क और गौशाला का उद्घाटन पूर्व सीएम हुड्डा जी के साथ किया।
