Bamni (बमनी) is a village in Patera tahsil in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh. It contains a very important Sati record in which the name of the king Hammiravarma of Kalinjara is mentioned as a sovereign lord of the ruling prince Vaghadeva in samvat 1365 or 1308 AD. Until this was found the last king of the Chandela Dynasty was Bhojavarmadeva ruling in 1287 AD.[1]
