Betul-Bazar (बेतूल बाजार) is a town in Betul tahsil of Betul district in Madhya Pradesh. Balaji Puram is famous for Lord Balaji’s huge temple. This place comes under Betul Bazar Nagar Panchayat.

- Vaitula-kantha (वैतुलकंथ) is name of a town mentioned by Panini in Ashtadhyayi.[1]
- During the early 20th century, Betul was known as Badnur.[2] It derives its present name from a small town called Batul Bazar about 5 km to its south. The word Betul —literally mean "without" (be) "cotton" (tool) it was referred for its position outside the area's cottonfields.
