Chepru

The Chepru caste, associated with the Rathore lineage, reveres Maa Nagnechi as their Kuldevi. Esteemed within their community, Maa Nagnechi holds a special place as the ancestral deity, honored by the Chepru caste for generations. Their allegiance to Maa Nagnechi reflects the deep-seated traditions and spiritual customs inherent to the Rathore clan. Rao Dhuhad or Rao Dhuhar brought sculpture of Nagnechi maa. He bought this sculpture from karnatka state of India between 1295-1305. A Temple was made at Nagaana for Nagnechi maa. Maa Nagnechi is Kuldevi of Rathore of Marwar.
