विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[1] ने लेख किया है ...चित्रसेना नदी (AS, p.337) का उल्लेख महाभारत, भीष्मपर्व 9,77 में हुआ है। किंतु अब इस नदी का अभिज्ञान अनिश्चित है- 'करीषिणी चित्रवाहांचित्रसेनांच निम्नगाम्।'
