Dhai Gaon

Dhai Gaon (धैगाँव ) is a village in Gohad tahsil of Bhind district in Madhya Pradesh.

Location

Dhai Gaon is located at a distance of 2 km from Ujhawal garhi in north direction on a a hill top.^[1]

History

There is a small fort in Ujhawal known as ‘Jat Ranaon ki Garhi’. The fort was constructed by Gohad rulers. There are present only the ruins of the fort. The ruins indicate that the defence system of Rana Rulers through a network of garhis was unique. ^[2]
