Dorusa is a village of Kupwara district,it is approximately 20 km from district main city and about 116 km from Srinagar. Dorusa is located in Lolab area of district kupwara. It is very very beautiful place to visit.There are various tourist huts also and from different places of kupwara people visit there to enjoy their holidays. Nearby developing areas are Baghat colony tekipira. Diver A. Diver B. Tekipira. Dorusa is the local village of the beautiful Lolab valley it is about 6 kilometers away from the main town Sogam the village is very much beautiful and attractive it is famous for its fruits like walnut, plum, peach etc but the walnut is most famous fruit of whole Lolab valley dorusa is having great forests surrounding the valley the deodar and kayur trees are dominated in whole forests of the valley the springs are main source of water in the whole lolab valley also in dorusa lolab there are also beautiful dams in dorusa in local language known as sar the also provide water for the various cultivation especially for rice cultivation there are many tourist reception centers in dorusa valley. The valley is very much beautiful and the people of the valley are so much loveable the nearby areas are walkul tekipora diver anderbugh etc the developing areas are baghat colony diver sogam etc. This Place is in the border of the Kupwara District and Baramulla District. Baramulla District Sopore is South towards this place . [3]
