- the old names of the : Arachosia, an ancient region in south Afghanistan
- the old names of the : Arghandab River flowing through it
- the old names of the : Alexandria Arachosia, the main city in the region, later known as Kandahar
- Sarasvati River : Harahvaiti (Persian name of Sanskrit Sarasvati)[1]
