Janga

Janga (जंगा) is a gotra of Jats.^[1]

Origin

History

Janga is one of Khatuni sections in Afghanistan.^[2]

Rajatarangini^[3] tells about Jaṅga, a leader of the army of the king to Rajapuri, accepted service under king Bhikshu, but he was more mindful of his own interests than of his master's.
