Jats of Pakistan is book about Jats in Pakistan by Sigrid Westphal-Hellbusch and Heinz Westphal, the German social anthropologist couple who worked on a field work project on Jats of Pakistan during the sixties. Their bigger work is published in German. The same is listed on Jatland Wiki under the head 'German Books on Jats'.
The Westphals, in their monograph in English have in a nutshell dealt with the term 'Jat' in its various nuances in the Indic and non- Indic languages. It also deals briefly with certain ethnological aspects of the life of the Jats of Pakistan.
Drs. Sigrid Westphal-Hellbusch and Heinz-Westphal[1] inform us about "the movements of the Jats from the Indus Valley up along the Persian Gulf as early as 2nd century A.D. in search of pastures for their cattle". This evidence undoubtedly dis-proves the descent of the Jats from the Huns who came to India as invaders in the 6th century A.D.
