Kamarpukur (कामारपुकुर) is a village situated in Goghat II Community Development Block under the Arambag subdivision of the Hooghly District in West Bengal state of India. It is famous for being the birthplace of Ramakrishna.

कामारपुकुर
विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[1] ने लेख किया है ...कामारपुकुर (AS, p.170) जिला हुगली, बंगाल, स्वामी स्वामी रामकृष्ण परमहंस का जन्म स्थान. इसी ग्राम में 18 फरवरी 1836 ई. में गदाधर का जन्म हुआ था जो पीछे रामकृष्ण परम हंस के नाम से विख्यात हुए.
