Kundana (कुंदणा) Kundana (कुंदना) gotra Jats live in Mandsaur, Ratlam districts in Madhya Pradesh.

Origin

They have probably originated from Kundana (कुनदीकस).[1]

History

]]Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 44]] mentions names of combatants armed with diverse weapons and clad in diverse kinds of robes and ornaments, All of them came to the ceremony for investing Kartikeya with the status of generalissimo. Shloka 53 mentions Kundana along with Kapahis. [2]
