Bati Singh Nauhwar (1916-2017) borned in the village Panhera Kalan. He was the Sarpanch of village Panhera Kalan which is in Ballabgarh Tehsil of Faridabad district in Haryana.

Biography

He was born in 1916 in Nauhwar clan of village Panhera Kalan village in Ballabgarh Tehsil of Faridabad district in Haryana. He was son of Paltu Singh Nauhwar and grandson of Sh. Ajiram Singh Nauhwar. He was a hard working farmer. After many years living in the village everyone used like him for his kindness. After some time elections for the Sarpanch held and everyone thought Bati Singh is the most capable person for the position so they suggested him to stand in election and they will vote for him to become Sarpanch . So he accepted the proposal and was elected as the Sarpanch with maximum number of votes. He was the first and last Jat Sarpanch ever elected in the village.

Family

He was son of Sh. Paltu Singh Nauhwar and grandson of Sh. Ajiram Singh Nauhwar. He was married to Late Sh. Mukti Devi. He had 4 sons and 2 daughters.

Death

He died on 24th Decemeber 2017 at the age of 101 years.
