Dalpat Singh Ahlawat:
of village Deeghal. Honarary Capt. Dalpat Singh of The Jat Regiment saw action in First World War in France and Palestine and was honored with title of Sardar Bahadur and alloted 100 acres of land at Lyallpur. He was Chairman Rohtak District Board before Independence. He was a Unionist party member who lost to Prof. Sher Singh Kadiyan of Congress Party for MLC election to Punjab Assembly in 1946. He contested the Parliament General elections 1952 from Rohtak seat on Unionist Party ticket against Ch. Ranbir Singh Hooda of the Congress Party but lost the election.
