S. S. Chahar

Shri Sobran Singh Chahar is a former MP Police personnel. He is basically from Hira Singh Ka Nagla, Agra.

He joined MP Police in 1962 as a Stenographer(Sub-Inspector) and was posted in Special Arm Force(S.A.F.), Gwalior. In 1963, he was transferred to Jammu and Kashmir and after 2-3 years left the Services of MP Police and joined J&K Police.

In 1968, he left the J&K Police and rejoined MP Police in Bhind as a Steno to SP, Bhind. In 1972, He was transferred to Jabalpur and worked there till 1980. In 1981, He was transferred from jabalpur to Gwalior and joined as P.A. to IGP, Gwalior and worked there more than 15 yrs.

In 1996, He was transferred in S.A.F. Gwalior as P.A. to IG S.A.F. In 1999, He transferred from Gwalior to Bhilai as P.S. to Addl. DG (Nexalite zone). In 2002, He retired from MP Police.

In the phase of 1981-1996, He worked very actively and smartly and did lot of adventurous work.

Now He is living in Gwalior, His Son Virendra Chahar has 12 yrs. of IT Industry experience and worked with Infogain, Global Logic, JK TECHNOSOFT etc. and spent nearly 4 yrs. in UK. Currently He is running his own company i.e. Brainwork TechnoSolutions Pvt. Ltd. in Noida as a Founder Director and providing the Corporate Training and staffing and placement.
