Saroi (सरोई) Saroia (सरोईया) is Jat Gotra in Punjab.
Origin
Dusanj (दुसंज), a Hindu Jat tribe found in Ferozepur, whom tradition avers that Saroia, Jat, had five sons, Sangha, Mallhi, Dhindsa, Dhillon and Dusanj, eponyms of as many gots. [1]
Distribution
Saroi population is 6,108 in Ludhiana district.[2]
