Shruti Choudhary (date of birth: October 3, 1975) is a Legha Jaat from village Golagarh in Bhiwani. She is the grand-daughter of former Haryana Chief Minister Chaudhary Bansi Lal and daughter of former Haryana agriculture minister and two-time MP Late Chaudhary Surender Singh. Her mother, Kiran Choudhry was former Minister of State for Tourism and Forest in Haryana's cabinet. It may also be menitioned here that in 2024, Kiran Choudhary was also elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Haryana - sponsored by BJP. This Rajya Sabha seat became vacant after Deepeder Hooda resigned from it, after his election victory to Lok Sabha in May 2024 elections. Kiran Choudhary's tenure in Rajya Sabha will end in April 2026.

A lawyer by education, Shruti Chaudhary was chosen by Congress party to contest Lok Sabha election from Bhiwani in 2009, when she defeated her nearest rival, Ajay Singh Chautala of INLD.

She again fought Lok Sabha election in 2019 as Congress party candidate, from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh constituency but was defeated by BJP candidate, Dharambir Singh Panghal.

Elected MLA in Haryana and took oath as Minister

In Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections held on 5 October 2024, Shruti was elected from Tosham seat on BJP ticket, defeating her nearest rival Anirudh Choudhary of Congress Party, by a margin of 14257 votes.

On 17 October 2024, Shruti Chaudhary was sworn in as Minister in Government of Haryana.
