Dear Viewers,
I'm Nishant from New Zealand, got quite excited after visiting Jatland where there is lot of information about our Jat people. I also thought to share an interesting fact with you.
I have married a lovely Kiwi girl, and have just become a dad of this lovely baby of a Jat and a Gori (white people). In other words a fusion of Goyat and Hughes. My mausaji (Mr. Umed Singh Malik) mentioned, this is a time when History is re-born.. (yes, it does sound melo-dramatic). As we Jats have lived at many places at different time in the world, now is the time when we have proceed back to the beginning in the form of this newly born baby named Omkara and his mother's name is Sally Anne Goyat.
It is also exciting for both of our families as Omkara is the first multi-race son of our families.
We're planning to teach Omi both English & Hindi (possibly Haryanvi as well). It will be interesting having been brought up with the influence of 2 cultures. His nana (Alan Hughes- mere Sasur) is the only grand-parent who has met with Omkara. Of course, rest of them are excited as well.
My father Mr. Rajmal Goyat passed away 2 yrs ago. What a wonderful man he is... still with us in a little form of Omkara.
I'm hoping to carry my Jat name Goyat to a next level.
