Yadavasthali (यादवस्थली) is the place located on the banks of Hiranya River near Prabhasapattana in Kathiawar Gujarat where Yadavas killed themselves fighting with each other. [1]

History

Mausala Parva in mahabharata describes the demise of Krishna in the 36th year after the Kurukshetra war had ended, the submersion of Dwaraka under sea, death of Balarama by drowning in the sea, Vasudeva's death, and a civil war fought among the Yadava clan that killed many of them fighting each other. This place called Yadavasthali is located on the banks of Hiranya River near Prabhasapattana in Kathiawar Gujarat.

यादवस्थली (AS, p.771): काठियावाड़, गुजरात में प्रभासपट्टन के निकट हिरण्या नदी के तट पर यह वह स्थान माना जाता है जहाँ द्वापर युग के अंत में श्रीकृष्ण के संबंधी यादव लोग परस्पर झगड़े के कारण लड़-भिड़ कर नष्ट हो गये थे।[2]
