Chakara
Chakara (चाकरा) is a Jat gotra. Chakar (चाकर) clan is found in Afghanistan.[1]

History
'Mount Abu Vimala Temple Inscription of v.s. 1378 (1322 AD)' mentions Chakara in Verse-18:
- 18. Sri-Desalah sukkri[tapesa]la-Yittako[tis=chamcha]c]chchaturdasajagaj-janita-
- vad[āta]h | Satrumjayapramukha-visrutasaptati[rtha]-yātrās=cha[tu]rdasa chakara
