Ratanpur Stone Inscription Of Jajalladeva I - (Kalachuri) Year 866 (=1114 AD) mentions a place Siruli (सिरुली) in Verse.30. Sirulî, which was donated to the temple in Jâjallapura, is probably represented by Sirli, 8 m south-west of Jânjgir (p.411).
