Anurag Dahiya is the Chief Commercial Officer of the International Cricket Council.

Career

He has nearly 2 decades of experience, more than 15 of which have been at various functions such as marketing, projects/business development, programming/scheduling and rights acquisitions in Asia's fast growing media markets, especially in the Indian sports environment. Prior to ICC, he was Head of Content & Ad Sales for Singtel in Singapore. Earlier he was the Sr. Vice President, Strategy & Business Development / Cricket Rights at Fox International Channels and ESPN STAR Sports.


Anurag has been involved with various new sports programming and media vehicle launches including launch of a major new sports channel in India. Experience of acquiring as well as globally selling & distributing very high value, long-term sports media rights/content with exposure to all aspects of such deal-making activity - including commercial modelling, relevant broadcast and distribution operations cost and revenue evaluation, bidding processes, legal negotiations and formalities etc.


Prior to ESPN STAR Sports, Anurag has also worked with Goodyear India, having previously begun his career at Unilever.


Anurag specializes in the areas of Business strategy, Broadcast / Media projects, Programming/Acquisitions of sports rights & content, International cricket media and commercial rights sales, Marketing.

Awards

He has been awarded the Global Rupert Murdoch Prize for his contribution to Media.
