Arushi Chaudhary
Dr Arushi Chaudhary (डॉ आरुषि चौधरी) is the first woman Jat IAS from Rajasthan, selected in the year 2005 by the Union Public Service Commission, Delhi. She was at All India rank 16, third rank in the women’s group and first rank in Rajasthan. She was born on 29 October 1980 in Jodhpur in the family of Hindu Jat of Mothara gotra, who originally came from village Khajwana in Nagaur district in Rajasthan. Her father is retired engineer from Ground Water Department. Her mother is a housewife.
Education
She got education in Saint Mary School, Udaipur and Saint Patrick School, Jodhpur. She was selected in RPMT 1997 in the first attempt and got MBBS degree from SN Medical College, Jodhpur.
Career
She appeared in IAS examination in 2003 and got selected in Indian defense accounts Service. She got posting at Delhi where she further prepared for IAS and got selected in the IAS main in second attempt. She was at first rank in Rajasthan, so she got allotted Rajasthan cadre . The subjects for examination in IAS were Botany and Medical Science. She never took any coaching.
Credit
She gives credit for her success to her parents and younger sister Dr Gunjan Chaudhary. She is proud to be a Jat and treats her success as that of Jat Samaj.
Aims
She aims to serve the last person in the society. She considers women education and their upliftment at her first priority. She also aims to eradicate social evils from the society and believes that the social evils like child marriage be stopped with the support of elite class in the society.
