Barabazar is a town in Purulia district in West Bengal, India.

The area forms the lowest step of the Chhota Nagpur Plateau.
History
There are sixteen remains of Jain temples at Pakbira near Bara Bazar. Some of the remains of temples and images are about 2,000 years old.[1]
The Armenian Church of the Holy Nazareth is located in the city's northwestern corner, and is one of the three Armenian Christian churches located in the Kolkata area.
