Bharj

Bharj (भारज) is a Sikh Jat Gotra found in Punjab. Like some other jat gotra, Bharj gott is not very popular and most people don't even know about it. The reason is the fewer number of people with this gotra in punjab.

Origin

Not much is known about the origin and history of Bharj gotra. People with Bharj gotra mostly live inPunjab state. Some of them are in other states of India. A large number of Bharj gotra people live in Canada and Great Britain. Some of them are also found in punjab district of Pakistan.
