Chimanpura (चिमनपुरा) is a village in Shahpura tahsil of Jaipur district in Rajasthan.

History

Chimanpura Shahpura was an important post of the Mughal Empire during the Mediaeval period of Indian history. It is the birth place of Sant Narayan Das ji Maharaj.

The place has distinction of having the first Agriculture College in the Jaipur District and the second in all Rajasthan. The College is named B.B. Degree College, Chimanpura.
