Choudhary Jai Lal was Born in a Kishan Parivar in Village Sisai Kaliraman in Hisar district of Haryana. He was Pardhan, Roghi Khap, Hisar. He was a famous social worker. He started movement against 'Dahej-Partha' (Dowary), 'Sarab-Bandhi'(Anti Liquor). He actively taken part in 'Sarab-Bandhi' agitation in March-April 1993 at Raj Ghat, New Delhi. This agitation become a state movement and it was decided that one member from each district of Haryana would be sitted on 'Hunger Strike' and Choudhary Jai Lal represented Hisar District in this Hunger Strike. Various forms like Bhartiya Kishan Union led by Sh Ghasi Ram Nain, Master Hukam Singh, Sh Mange Ram Malik Umra, Kishan Morcha, various local leaders, Advocates & retired employees from Haryana, UP, Delhi, Rajasthan supported this movement. This hunger strike reached in Eighteenth Day (18th Day) and the condition of the agitators became very serious and they were taken to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital by Delhi Administration and after that they were taken to Tihar Jail, Delhi. He died on 24 November 2003.
