Location of Charkhi Dadri in Bhiwani District

Charkhi (चरखी) is the one of biggest village in tehsil and district Charkhi Dadri of Haryana.

Location

It is located on Bhiwani-Dadri Road about five Kms from Dadri and is the head village of Sangwan Khap of 40 villages in the area.

Population

The Charkhi village has population of 6822 of which 3587 are males while 3235 are females as per Population Census 2011.

• Suresh Kumar Dudi(Sepoy) (8.8.1973 - 17.5.1999) - From Charkhi, Bhiwani, Haryana, Martyrs of Kargil war on 17 May 1999, Unit-04 Jat Regiment.
• श्री हेतराम जी सांगवान चरखी - 01 नवंबर 1949 को दादरी में जमीन तलाश करके व प्रमुख आदमियों से सलाह करके आर्य हिन्दी महाविद्यालय की नींव रखी। जनता में विश्वास जमाने के लिए एक कमेटी बना दी गयी उसमें प्रमुख-प्रमुख व्यक्तियों को लिया गया।
