Dughli is a small Village/hamlet in Tisa Tehsil in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh State, India. It comes under Dughli Panchayath. It is located 35 KM towards North from District head quarters Chamba. 250 KM from State capital Shimla. Dughli is surrounded by Saluni Tehsil towards west , Chamba Tehsil towards South , Bhalessa(Gandoh) Tehsil towards North , Pangi Tehsil towards East . Chamba , Dalhousie , Dharamsala , Sujanpur are the near by Cities to Dughli.[1]

Dr Naval Viyogi[2] writes....Most probably Nagas moved from Kashmir valley and settled in different valleys of Himachal Pradesh. Still today these Nagas can be Seen in numerous temples and heard in legends throughout the modern province of Himachal Pradesh.

Naga temples are also found in the valley of the Chinab. At Kilār in Pāngi, there is a shrine Det Naga. It is said that he was originally located in Lahul and human sacrifices were offered to him. There is also a temple of Kalihar Naga (Kelang Naga) at Dughi, it is famous about this Naga that he also hailed from Lahul[3]. Similarly Eighteen Nagas or serpents are also worshipped in Kulu [4] valley.
