Date conversion from an Indian Calendar to the Common Era (CE or AD) requires a complex computation. To obtain the approximate year in AD we can use the following formula for different Eras:

Samvat Formula to convert into AD Beginning
Vikram Samvat: subtract (-) 57 (Chaitra-Pausha); subtract 56 (Pausha-Phalguna). Founded by Vikramaditya following his victory over the Sakas in 56 BCE.[1]
Shaka Samvat: add (+) 78-79 Accession of Kanishka to the throne in 78 AD
Kalachuri Samvat: add (+) 248-249
Kashmirian Era
Gupta Year: add (+) 319-320
Valabhi Samvat: add (+) 320
Bangla Savat: add (+) 593-594 Bengali calendar is often attributed to King of Gour, Shashanka as the starting date (12 or 14 April 594 CE)
Harsha Samvat: add (+) 606 Accession of Harshavardhana to the throne of Thaneshwar in 606 A.D.
Viranirvana Samvat: subtract (-) 527-526 The Vira Nirvana Samvat (era) originated on 15 October 527 BCE. It commemorates the nirvana of Mahavira, the 24th Jain Tirthankara.
Buddhist Era (BE): subtract (-) 544-543 Buddha attained parinirvāna
Yudhishthira Samvat: subtract (-) 3101 Ascension of Lord Krishna at age 125
Shri Krishna Samvat: subtract (-) 3226 Birth of Lord Krishna
