Gomukha

Gomukha (गॊमुख) was a nagavanshi mahapurusha. He was son of Matali.

Relation with Matali

Mātalī (मातली) or Matli (मातलि) was Charioteer of Indra who took Arjuna to the kingdom of gods. He is the originator of Matwa jat clan.

Aryaka is mentioned to have born in the race of Kauravya. Kauravya is born in the race of Airavata. Aryaka's son was named Chikura. Chikura was slain by a Suparna. Chikura's wife was the daughter of a Naga named Vamana. Chikura's son was named Sumukha. Matali, the charioteer of Deva king Indra chose Sumukha as his daughter Gunakesi's husband (5,103). Matali's son was Gomukha[1] [2]

Adi Parva

Adi Parva, Mahabharata/SECTION LXVII mentions them along Asuras:

Bhuritejas; Ekalavya, Sumitra, Vatadhana, Gomukha; Karushakas, Khemadhurti; Srutayu, Udvaha, Vrihatsena; Kshema, Ugratirtha, the king of the Kalingas; and Matimat, and he was known as king Iswara; these first of kings were all born of the Asura class called Krodhavasa.
