Indraparvata (इंद्रपर्वत) was a mountain mentioned in Mahabharata probably located in Nepal between Gandaki River and Kosi River.

In Mahabharata

Sabha Parva, Mahabharata/Book II Chapter 27 mentions the countries subjugated by Bhimasena. Indraparvata (इंद्रपर्वत) is mentioned in Mahabharata (II.27.13).[1].....And the hero next vanquished, by policy alone, the Sharmakas and the Varmakas. And that tiger among men (Bhimasena) then defeated with comparative ease that lord of earth, Janaka the king of the Videhas. And the hero then subjugated strategically the Shakas and the barbarians living in that part of the country. And the son of Pandu, sending forth expeditions from Videha, conquered the seven kings of the Kiratas living about the Indra mountain.

इंद्र पर्वत

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है ... इंद्र पर्वत (AS, p.74) 'वैदेहस्यस्तु कौन्तेय इन्द्रपर्वतमन्तिकात्, किरातानामधिपतीनजयत् सप्त पांडव:।' (महाभारत सभा पर्व 30, 15) इन्द्र पर्वत के समीप सात किरात-नरेशों को भीम ने अपनी दिग्विजय यात्रा में विजित किया था। इन्द्र पर्वत संभवत: नेपाल का वह पहाड़ी भाग था जो गंडकी और कोसी नदियों के बीच में स्थित है। इन्द्र पर्वत के प्रदेश की विजय भीम ने विदेह (बिहार) में ठहर कर की थी जिससे इन दोनों देशों का प्रातिवेश्य सूचित होता है।
