According to Prof. B.S. Dhillon^[1]This is a small village in District Hoshiarpur, Punjab and is situated on a road between Mahilpur and Phagwara. Most of the land and its inhabitants, belong to the Jhaj Jat clan. Obviously, this village is named after them.
