Jhammat
Jhammat (झम्मत) Jhamat (झमत) Jhamat (झमट)[1][2][3] is a Jat Gotra. Jhamat (झमत) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan. Jhamat (झमत), a Muhammadan Jat clan is found inMultan and Montgomery. [4] Jhummat (झुम्मत) is also a Rajput clan in Shahpur. [5]

Distribution in Pakistan
Jhammat - The Jhammat claim descent from the Parmar Rajputs. They are found in Sargodha, Jhelum, Khushab, Bhakkar and Layyah districts.
According to 1911 census the Jhammat were the principal Muslim Jat clan in:
- Jhelum District - Jhammat (1,471)
- Bahawalpur State - Jhammat (2,097)
