Kaliar (कलियार) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan.
History
H.A. Rose writes that Kaliar (कलियार), a sept of Chauhans, found at Panipat. Its family saint, Kala Sayyid, is a great worker of miracles, and anyone sleeping near his shrine must lie on the ground or he will be bitten by a snake. But if a snake bite a man on a Kaliar's ground he will suffer no harm. [1]

According to 1911 census the Kaliar were the principal Muslim Jat clan in:
- Shahpur (Sargodha District) District - Kaliar (855)
- Lyalpur District (Faisalabad District) - Kaliar (312)
