Khaki

Khaki (खकी) Khaki (खाकी)^[1] (Khakhi) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan. Also found in Afghanistan.^[2] Also a class of Kambohs.

History

Khaki (खकी) Jat clan found in a more or less solid block between the Nuns and the Chenab river, in the Shujabad tahsil of Multan, where they settled from Bhatner in Jahangir'a time. ^[3]

According to 1911 census the Khaki were the principal Muslim Jat clan in district with population -

Multan District : Khaki (596)
Muzaffargarh District: Khakhi (453)
