Kichar (किचार)[1][2] Kitcher (किचर)[3] Kinchar (किंचार)[4] is a gotra of Jats.

Origin

These people were Yaduvanshi, whose king was Raja Kritvarma (कृतवर्मा) who gave name to the clan.[5]

History

Ram Sarup Joon[6] writes that...about 70 Jat Gotras joined the Gujar force and started calling themselves Gujars. Kitcher is one of them.
