History
Kotara is a village in Sarangarh (सारणगढ) tahsil of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh.
In Mahabharata
Shalya Parva, Mahabharata/Book IX Chapter 45 provides the List of the mothers who became the companions when Skanda was installed. Kotara (कॊटरा) is mentioned in verse (IX.45.17).[3]
