Lachhera (लछेड़ा) is a large village in Muzaffarnagar tahsil and district of U.P.

The village has Jat dominated population. Pincode of the village is 251003. It is situated 9km away from Muzaffarnagar city. Lachhera village has got its own gram panchayat. Molaheri, Garhi Durganpur and Sandhawali are some of the nearby villages.

History
This village has produced many distinguished personalities serving the nation starting from Muzaffarnagar, to foreign destinations, and all over India. The unique identity of this village is River Kali. The village is situated on its bank. Now it is connected to the city by road. It is rich in cultural heritage. The hidden talent in youth is possible to be explored tremendously if sincere efforts are made by community persons in job to interact in scientific manner. The first newspaper "DEHAT" of Muzaffarnagar was published by a resident of village Lacchera at Muzaffarnagar. He was late Chaudhary Raj Roop Singh Verma, a freedom fighter who started his weekly newspaper in Urdu in the year 1936 initially but later converted it into Hindi and added its daily version too.
