Origin
History
The Leeri (लीड़ी) village in Peesangan tahsil in Ajmer district in Rajasthan was the capital of rulers of Sangwan clan. They used to keep weapon named Sang (साँग) and Vana (वाण) hence called Sangwan. [1]
