The Lidhar are a Jat clan found in the Punjab province of Pakistan, and Punjab (India) state of India.

History and Origin

They claim descent from Lidhar Name jat king



Distribution In Pakistan

In Pakistan, they are found mainly in Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat and Sialkot districts. Their main villages are Lidhar in Gujrat District and Lidhar in Mandi Bahauddin District.[1]

The Sialkot Lidhar claim descent from a Kilas, a descendent of Lidhar.[2]

Distribution In India

In India, they are found mainly in Jalandhar District, and Ludhiana, their main villages being Ghugh, Lidhar Kalan, Lidhar Khurd and Thalla. Pohir,neelon khurd ,neelon kalan [3]
