Matin or Matan (मातन / मात्तिण) is a village in Bahadurgarh tahsil of Jhajjar district in Haryana.

It situated on Bahadurgarh-Beri MDR 122 road. Neighbouring villages are Mandauthi (मांडौठी), Kharhar (खरहर), Chhara (छारा), Chhudani (छुडाणी) Silothi (सिलौठी)) Riwadi kheda (रिवाड़ी खेड़ा) and Kharman (खरमाण) Its lands are very rich in agriculture. Two big canals fetch water to this village from river Sutlej. Ground water level is merely at 10 feet depth. The village is 15 kilometers away from Delhi border and Kundali-Manesar Expressway passes near this village. IGI Airport is just 40 kms away from this village. People of Mattan are very polite, hard working and highly educated. All house are pukka houses with toilets. This village has been awarded Adarsh gram award 5 times. Matan has two separate Higher secondary schools with science stream for boys and girls. It has 5 major temples and 10 large ponds called johad in haryanvi. Language spoken in village is proper haryanvi. Although all residents can speak hindi as well. The village is pure Hindu village of Dalal clan and no muslims live here. The village is one of twelve villages of Dalal gotra. English is not so popular but more than 50% people will understand it. The village is famous for its 'dharms' or Langars. Main crops of the village are Paddy (rice), wheat, mustard, cotton and vegetables like cucumber, gourd, tomatoes and carrots. Sarpanch of village is sri Jasbir singh Dalal alias Jassa Sarpanch.
