Murthal is a village in tahsil and district Sonipat of Haryana.

History

This village is famous for a renowned Engineering college which is now Deemed University in the name of Jat Icon Sir Chotu Ram. It has given a lot of engineers to Jat community. It is situated near to the city of Sonipat and adjacent to the Delhi - Chandigarh highway.
