Narei (नरेई) Narain (नरैन)[1] is gotra of Jats. [2] They fought Mahabharata War in Kaurava's side.
Origin
This gotra is said to derive its name from place name Narei (नरेई) i.e. surrounded by Capitalia. [3] It is one of the Jat clans as described by Megasthenes.
