Narayanapur (नारायणपुर) is a village in the Basavakalyan taluk of Bidar district in the Indian state of Karnataka.

Shiva Temple

Narayanapur is famous for the ancient 12th century Shiva temple, built during the Chalukyan reign located in the village. In addition to the main Shiva temple there are many temples in dilapidated condition around the village.

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[1] ने लेख किया है ...नारायणपुर मैसूर (AS, p.493), कर्नाटक का एक प्रसिद्ध ऐतिहासिक स्थान है। चालुक्य वास्तुशैली में निर्मित चालुक्य नरेशों के समय का एक मंदिर यहाँ का उल्लेखनीय प्राचीन स्मारक है।
