Ch Naresh Malik is a Jat, son of Chaudhary Maha Singh Malik ji from Gandhra in Rohtak. He was a Businessman, Agriculturalist, Social Worker, Politician and Gau Sewak. In 2005 there was only 2 MLAs of BJP in Haryana and Naresh Malik was one of them, he strengthened BJP in Haryana. His brother is Ramesh Malik who is son-in-law from the family of Mahendra Singh Bhattewala Gandas MLA Mahipalpur Delhi 1998.

Political Career

He was Sarpanch of his Village Gandhra in Rohtak. Later he was of Chairman of Panchayat Samiti, Sampla (Rohtak). In 2000 Assembly elections of Haryana many political parties approached him but he contested as an Independent candidate from Hassangarh constituency of Rohtak and came second, he gave close fight to Ch Balwant Singh 2 time MLA from this seat and only lost from margin of 2-3 percent. In 2005 Assembly elections BJP saw his potential and support base among the people, BJP requested him to contest from their side because at that time BJP was not popular in Haryana. He contested from BJP and Won, he defeated Ch Balwant Singh 3 time sitting MLA who for 15 years and the vote margin among them was more than 22000. In 2005 there were only 2 BJP MLAs in Haryana. In 2008 due to constituencies re-arrangement in India, Hassangarh Assembly of Rohtak District got abolished and now Rohtak have only 4 Assemblies before it was 5. In 2009 Assembly elections of Haryana he wanted to contest from any seat of Rohtak because his home seat of Hassangarh got merged and abolished but BJP requested him to contest from different district seat, Bahadurgarh Assembly of Jhajjar. In 2009 he contested from BJP but lost from Bahadurgarh Assembly against Rajinder Singh Joon of Congress sitting MLA from this seat and son of ex MLA Suraj Mal Joon and the other candidate was INLD's two time MLA from this seat 1996 and 2000 Nafe Singh Rathee, Nafe Singh also contested Lok Sabha elections from Rohtak just few months ago against Deepender Hooda and later on became INLD state President. In 2014 Haryana Assembly elections BJP again approached him to contest from Bahadurgarh Vidhan Sabha but he denied because Naresh Malik had left politics and just wanted to do social service and Gau Sewa in Goshalas, then BJP gave ticket to Naresh Kaushik who won beacause of work done by Naresh Malik in this constituency for BJP and there were 4 strong Jat candidates against Naresh Kaushik - Rajinder Joon of INC, Rajesh Joon as Independent and Nafe Rathi also Independent and Teja Pahalwan of INLD. People and leaders use to say that if Naresh Malik would have contested in 2014 assembly elections then he would have won for sure and would have become a Minister because BJP made Captain Abhimanu and OP Dhankar first time MLAs as ministers and Subash Barala firt time MLA as the State President. People had many hopes from Naresh Malik in politics in future as Minister or MP because of his social work and charities.
