- Dipankar Kapur Singh Sherawat (Lt. Col.) (born:23.08.1976) fought bravely in Kargil War on 08.07.1999 during Operation Vijay. He was from village Nathuwas in Bhiwani tahsil of Bhiwani district in Haryana. He was awarded Vir Chakra for his bravery.
